CoreSimulator logs on Mac: safe to delete?
Safe to deleteRegenerated automatically; Thermo deletes it outright.
Where it is
~/Library/Logs/CoreSimulator
What it is
CoreSimulator is the framework behind Xcode's Simulator. It writes logs for the simulator service and for individual simulated devices into ~/Library/Logs/CoreSimulator, which help diagnose simulators that fail to boot or crash.
Why it gets so big
Each simulated device writes its own logs, and devices you created for different runtimes, test runs or previews keep theirs after you stop using them.
Is it safe to delete?
Yes. These are only logs, so deleting them doesn't affect your simulators, the apps installed in them, or their data. New logs are written the next time a simulator runs. Keep them only if you're actively troubleshooting a simulator problem.
