Open Claude links in a specific browser profile on Mac
Why give it its own rule
If you have a personal Claude account and another under your company's Team or Enterprise plan, projects, chats and artifacts belong to separate accounts. A shared chat or artifact link opened in the wrong profile shows a not-found page or files new work into the wrong history.
How to set it up
- Install ChooseBrowser and pick it in System Settings → Desktop & Dock → Default web browser.
- In ChooseBrowser, add a rule for the hosts below and choose the browser and profile (profiles of Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Chromium need a one-time local setup in the app).
- From then on, these links open straight in that browser from any app; links without a rule show the picker.
Hosts to add
claude.ai
Add a rule for claude.ai that opens the Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi or Chromium profile signed in to the account you use most. A shared link doesn't say which account it belongs to, so if you use both regularly, skip the rule and choose in the picker, where ChooseBrowser puts your most-used browser for claude.ai first.
Check that it works
Open a claude.ai link someone shared with you and confirm the account menu shows the expected email and organization; then open a non-Claude link and confirm it goes elsewhere.
